Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a term that encompasses three influential components involved in producing human experience: neurology, language and programming.
NEURO: All of our experience is gained from the neurological processes that govern our five senses: touch, taste, smell, sight and sound. LINGUISTIC: We process our experiences through a set of mental filters, including language. Conversely, the language we use can also affect the way in which we experience things. PROGRAMMING: We are unconsciously programmed by others throughout our lives, most notably before the age of six (6) where we live predominantly in theta & delta states of consciousness. NLP techniques facilitate conscious reprogramming of your subconscious mind with outcomes beneficial to your wellbeing. |
